SNOLab Strike

On May 8th 2024, unit 59 with 52 members at SNOlab went on strike which lasted until June 7th 2024. The membership was able to ratify a new collective agreement which gave them wage increases and access to paid family responsibility leave.

New units have joined the Local 2020 family.

Vale Protective Services have joined our Union family in 2022.

Local 2020 has made available 3 scholarships for children of members who are beginning their post secondary education in September 2025. Please go to Member Education – Scholarships page and see the local’s Jane McMurray Scholarship requirements. Deadline for submissions is July 18, 2025.
